The 270 wrapped trees will arrive on Saturday, November 28. Poles are being installed in the ground, one per tree this week.
On Sunday, Nov. 29, from 10 am to 3 pm, we need many hands to help us set up the trees. We need people to carry each tree to a pole; to cut the rope around each tree; to tie each tree to a pole; to open the boxes that hold the Christmas tree lights and stretch out each string of lights; to wrap the lights around each tree; and to run extensions cords and anchor them to the ground. We need people willing to do heavy lifting and people willing to sit while untangling tree lights. Whatever your skill, please join us for as little or as much time as you can.
Trees will be spaced apart from each other, so you can volunteer and still be socially distant. Remember to wear a mask and bundle up! Questions? Contact Fr. Joe Curry.
