Pro-Life Ministry

The members of the Pro-Life Ministry are dedicated to the defense and protection of all human life from conception through natural death. Taking our inspiration from the encyclical of Pope John Paul II, The Gospel of Life, we are committed to working spiritually, educationally, and legislatively to promote the sanctity of life. Activities are carried out in close cooperation with diocesan directives. Our efforts were recognized with the Pro-Vita Award presented by Bishop Vincent de Paul Breen in January 2001. The Pro-life Ministry invites individuals who are interested in nurturing “a culture of life” within our society.
