"9/11 Day of Service"

On September 8th, 2012 St. Matthias will hold a Day of Service to honor and remember all those whose lives were taken in the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. There will be sign-up sheets available in church on 8/25-26 and 9/1-2 with different opportunities for service. You can also sign up on-line at http://stmatthias.net/connect/node/1589.

The day will start at 8:15 AM with prayer and then we will leave for our service sites at 8:45 AM. We will return to St. Matthias at 12:30 PM for lunch that will be provided by St. Matthias. Following lunch will be an opportunity for group sharing of our service experiences. The day will conclude at 2 PM with prayer.

Please consider giving of your time to remember those affected by the events of September 11th, 2001. This is a great way to help those most in need in our community and an opportunity to fellowship with other parishioners from St. Matthias.
