Oct.29/30
Hi Cantors and Music Ministry leaders. Here is the music for Oct. 29/30.
Psalm 131 may be one of the gentlest psalms in the whole psalter. The psalmist describes the peace of our surrender to God with the moving image of a weaned child on a mother’s lap. Pray and prepare well………………….Joan

August 20/21
Dear Cantors and our other wonderful musicians at St. Matthias,
I will be away again next week so I wanted to send out the music selection for August 20/21 now .
The Gospel for the 21st Sunday of Ordinary Time is Matthew’s story about Jesus and Peter….. “upon this rock I will build my church.” In Psalm 138 you will sing about “the work of god’s hands which is the gift of revelation, the gift of faith, the gift of the church founded on the person Peter who grew in faith through experience and grace.” (from Living Liturgy).
Pray and prepare well…………….Joan

Prayer for Music Ministers (plus test files)
Prayer for Music Ministers:
The spirit of God is moving in and through me now. I am inspired to live life fully.
Great leaders throughout history have been inspired to uplift the world. Poets, musicians, artists, and authors have shared their works of inspiration. And many people live their everyday lives as shining examples of Spirit-inspired living.
Whether I, too, influence the lives of others, produce works of art, or live my life in an extraordinary way, my inspiration comes from Spirit within.
